reservations |
To look at your reservations, go to www.mytripandmore.com. Fill in your PNR number, which is unique to each trip and the traveler's last name. From this you can view your travel arrangements, print out e-ticket receipts, and on a number of airlines print out boarding passes prior to flight time. |
|
ticketing information |
Delivery Paper tickets (some airlines charge extra for this): Our messengers can deliver tickets in Manhattan with a two hour window, three hours on bad weather days. Our normal deliveries leave here at 10:30am and 2:30pm. Specials on request. We can also send tickets via overnight FEDEX.
In addition, special delivery services are available for additional charges: same-day messengers within the New York metropolitan area; same day FEDEX anywhere FEDEX offers this service in the United States. |
|
passport/visa services |
We alert you to passport/visa requirements when you first start reserving flights for international travel. Our passport service, Passport Rush, will handle all the processing for your visas, etc., and bill you directly. We work closely with them to provide any backup agency support they may need to help with quick processing of these visas. Note that some visa processing can take a week, and frequently the country's consulate will hold your passport while the processing takes place. Thus, it is extremely important, when taking trips requiring several visas, that you allow ample time to complete all of them. |
|
insurance |
Call us for brochures and particulars. We are general sales agents for: Access America Navigator: Insurance for trip cancellation/interruption, lost baggage, travel delay, missed connection, and emergency medical and dental. Medjet Assistance: Medically equipped and staffed planes for evacuation to hospitals when more than 150 miles from home. |
|
inoculations |
We will alert you to required shots along with recommended shots when you first start planning your trip. It is critical that you call us as soon as you start to plan these trips, as some shots have incubation periods of up to four weeks. Further, and equally critical, you should also contact your personal physician to see if any personal/unique medical condition you have would argue for taking or not taking shots. |

reservations: some important reminders |
Air Fare Guarantees Fares quoted are only valid if purchased that day. Reservations do not protect air fares; only ticketing does that! The airlines no longer protect any fares. Hotel Reservations All hotel reservations made through Bond Street Travel are guaranteed for late arrival. Thus you have to cancel unwanted reservations within the required deadline (based on hotel local time) and be sure to get a cancellation number or full name of the hotel staffer who canceled your booking in order to avoid being charged a no-show fee. Non-Refundable Tickets New airline rules require that you cancel a non-refundable ticket, you must cancel the original travel date and confirm new reservations to preserve the value of the ticket (minus $100 to $ 150.00 per person depending on the airline) before the original travel date. Unused Tickets Paper Tickets: If you have any unused tickets (not the passenger receipt which looks like a ticket), always return them to us for any possible refund due. E (Electronic) Tickets: While we can scan all of our records for e-tickets which are not used, some of the unused e-tickets fall between the cracks and don't get refunded. You must contact us when you don't use an e-ticket so we can arrange a refund. Lost Tickets If you lose a paper ticket, you must file a lost ticket application (LTA) with the airline shown as the issuing carrier. To expedite the refund process, this is better done on the road, but we can assist you when you return if it is more convenient. We can also assist you in providing the necessary information to your credit card company to put the lost ticket dollar amount into a holding account to avoid having to pay for the ticket, pending the refund of the lost ticket. Call us. |
